WELCOME TO THE TRAIL OF TERROR!!! The most fun you can have in North Idaho without being arrested!
Lake City Triathlon Club is pleased to announce the Inaugural Trail of Terror Half Marathon & 5K (chip timed) to the region! This race will begin and end at Cedar Mountain Farms Bed & Breakfast. It features scary ghouls and goblins along the beautiful tree lined challenging hills of North Idaho as well as entry to SCARYWOOD for those brave enough for the HALF MARATHON!! Deeply discounted SCARYWOOD tickets are also available to 5K participants, friends and family!!!
We encourage you to wear costumes and bring your friends!!! (you will need to change out of your costumes prior to entering Scarywood after the race). Silverwood has offered their RV showers to use if you like after the race as well!
The course will feature fully stocked aid stations courtesy of PowerBar every 2 miles.... Potions will include Perform, PowerBar Gels and PowerBars, all served by Ghouls, Goblins, Witches and Vampires!!!
Proceeds from this race will benefit the Community Action Partnership Food Bank. Your contribution will help feed thousands of struggling local families for the upcoming holiday season.

COURSE: The course will head out on NORTH HATCH ROAD. You will take a right and head east on BUNCO ROAD and continue east on NUNN (the 5K will turn around at the 1/2 way point), the Half Marathon will continue to the end of NUNN which will be the turn around point. Head east on NUNN until you come to BUNCO ROAD. Take a right onto Bunco heading north, then east until reaching the 6.55 mile point. This will be the turn around point. NOTE: BOTH the 5K and Half Marathon Courses are out and back courses! Have fun and be SAFE!
